Metro Bilbao is extremely beneficial for our society in terms not just of usefulness and effectiveness but also of its commitment to environmental sustainability. Metropolitan Bilbao has grown to a size that would be much harder to handle without the Metro, which has without doubt played a key role in the urban regeneration of the towns along the estuary.
Our objective now is to strike out for new destinations, and we are working to extend the Metro network to more towns and districts, seeking to reach more people and make life easier for them.
